This stainless steel Ruger Super Blackhawk started life as a 7 1/2".  The barrel was shortened and set back a thread to close up the barrel cylinder gap and the ejector rod housing modified to fit.  Final barrel length= 4 7/8".  The grip frame was recontoured and the black pearlite grips fit to the frame.  The trigger was worked over for a crisp three pound break.  The frame and barrel were beadblasted and the cylinder and ejector rod housing polished, and just because it looks nice, the hammer was jeweled.  The sights were left plane black as per the customer's request.  This one really turned out nice.
